Melinda Stasuk is a Background Performer, Double, Model, Stand-in and Photo Double. Since childhood she was an enthusiast for the performing arts, as a performer and an audiance member as well. She appeared in school dance performances, and spent a good amount of time in theaters enjoying plays on stage. She came to Canada in 2012 and got to know the film industry a bit through her sister-in-law. She started to appear in commercials as a background performer (Fedex, Audi, Pepsi, Johnnie Walker, Miller beer, Western Governors University etc.). She realized she is in love with the industry and gradually switched to film and television. She got picture cast and continuity opportunities with multiple tv series, including Supergirl as DEO agent (for 3 seasons), and AppleTv's new tv show See, where she plays a blind Tamachi Jun warrior for the entire 1st season. She gained lots of various experiences on set since 2017. By March 2020 she collected 1600+ hours and became a UBCP apprentice member. Meanwhile she also started to take acting classes and workshops. She enjoys the diversity of roles and shows.
Before she came to Canada, Melinda worked as a legal advisor in Hungary. Currently she helps out the Hungarian community of Canada by working as a legal/medical interpreter. She also has experience as a hostess, landscaper, office manager/tech support, babysitter/nanny and English/German teacher.
She loves workshops and short courses, has been continuing education in BC in various fields, including business law/HR (BCIT), and recently counselling (VCC) and acting classes with Shoreline Studios.
