Trained at the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts, Matfei continues to develop his on-screen presence and performance skills. He plays guitar in his school’s junior band and is fluent in English, with conversational Russian and Ukrainian.
In addition to acting, Matfei excels academically—particularly in history, geography, and technology—and enjoys swimming, tennis, and cooking, where he has won multiple school competitions.
