Danica Berard is a 22-year-old singer, actress, musician, and dancer. Danica grew up in an artistic household and began performing at a young age in local musical theatre productions and in her family band, "The Dollz." As a child, Danica worked on several music videos for local artists and was scouted for a BC Hydro campaign. Over the years, Danica has been a part of several choirs and has performed competitively. Danica is also a professional and competitive Ukrainian dancer. Danica has performed on world-class stages, such as Disneyland and with a live orchestra for a production of "The Nutcracker." Danica was first introduced to Vancouver's film industry in 2017 after working on the set of "Once Upon A Time." In recent years, Danica has worked on numerous local film and television sets. Danica starred in her first short film "The Antique Shop," directed by Kenzie Lang (2023) which was shot on a 16mm Bolex camera. Some of her recent work includes her first credited role on 'School Spirits." She also received her first principal credit and soundtrack credit on "Kanji" this year. Danica has also been keeping busy performing. Danica sang live with her favourite band, The Beach Boys, in 2015 and 2022. She was also recently a part of The Beach Boys' marketing campaign for their new boxset, "Sail On Sailor - 1972." This summer, Danica also performed with California Surf (Featuring Former Members of The Beach Boys) singing lead to "Wouldn't it Be Nice" and backup vocals on "Barbara Ann." Danica is also currently working on writing her first album.
