Grew up in Toronto skiing, dancing and watching tv! Mr Video on Balliol St was a nearly everyday stop. Renting movies and chatting with the staff about movies was my main pastime. I loved the vibrancy of the city and the family connections through my father who worked on Bay St. Dad had a membership with the Canadian Film Centre so we went to screenings such as Robert Altman’s the Player and Wim Venders Until the End of the World. With the membership to the Canadian Film Centre we received 50 paid for cinema tickets that could be used anywhere in the city. I watched movies all the time. I went to the Hyland, the Hollywood, the Uptown, The Backstage, The Plaza, The Regent, The The Mt. Pleasant cinemas.
My favourite courses in school were dramatic arts and English literature. I came out to Vancouver in the 1990’s and stayed for a few years. I found a photographer on Denman St and and an Agent named Take Extras. I did a few days on productions like the X-files and Neon Rider. Then I went back to Toronto where I was lucky enough to find a modelling agency and so I auditioned for videos, commercials, films and TV. I booked a PSA for the AIDS walk and that put me in the Union. I came back to BC after doing a diploma in Business at Georgian College from 2013 - 2016. One of our instructors, Mr. Smith, taught us that the film industry in Vancouver is a growing and vibrant business, Hopefully we can keep it that way!
